HP Fairfield launches new business model in southern Maine

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

More information

SKOWHEGAN, ME., April 9, 2018 – As part of our efforts to improve our customer service in the southern Maine region, HP Fairfield announces that, effective May 1st, 2018, the company will be closing the Scarborough location.

“After examining branch profitability through our strategic planning review combined with the input we’ve received from our customers, we decided it was prudent to close this office, effective May 1, 2018. We have listened to our customers and are improving our inventory, competitive pricing and expert customer service. As an alternative, we are developing a mobile parts service, with increased staff, to meet customer demand, and we will continue to provide seasoned parts professionals to handle incoming calls that ensure the customer receives the part they need when they need it.

We are optimistic that this new business model will provide better customer service, improved inventory and expert advice to our southern Maine customers,” said Phil Nangle, President.

This decision allows HP Fairfield to grow in southern Maine while continuing to provide expert customer service that our customers deserve.
